Processing steps of terminal wire
1. Thread cutting

The harness manufacturer first uses the automatic cutting machine and equipment to cut the wire according to the size required by the process of the terminal wire, and then arranges the cut wire according to the regulations (such as: 50 pieces/bundle) to the designated position, and affix the product identification, and flow to the next production process of the terminal wire.


2. Exfoliation

Install the corresponding wire peeling machine and equipment according to the size of the wire cut according to the specification of the terminal wire, and adjust the peeling, wire clamping and thread cutting process according to the process requirements of the terminal wire. Adjust the size adjustment plate according to the peeling length, place the wire rod in the middle of the blade of the peeling machine, hold the wire head against the size adjustment plate, step on the foot to peel, and then flow to the next production process of the terminal line.


3. Tinning

Adjust the tin furnace (300 ± 20 ℃) of the stripped wire according to the temperature given in the SOP, arrange the wire, separate and align the core conductors, coat the core conductors with flux, and send the core wire vertically to the tin furnace (the size is as required in the SOP) when the core wire is in place, and then flow to the next production process of the terminal wire.


4. Terminal wire crimping

Crimp the tinned wire to the terminal with the crimping machine according to the process requirements of producing the terminal wire. After this process is completed, the finished terminal wire is finished. The following process flows to the inspection and packaging process of terminal wire.


Detection process of terminal wire:

1. Terminal wire electrical detection

Use a standard wire tester to test the withstand voltage, impedance, short circuit and other properties of the crimped terminal wire, and then proceed to the next inspection procedure after checking it.


2. Appearance inspection of terminal wire

Use a light magnifying glass to check whether the finished terminal wire that has passed the electrical property test is defective, or use the naked eye to check whether some appearance parts are up to standard, and whether there are no accessories, etc. After checking, it will flow to the next terminal wire packaging process.


3. Terminal wire sub-assembly

The finished product of the terminal wire that is checked to be OK shall be sub-packed according to the requirements of the sub-assembly process, that is, the terminal part of the terminal wire shall be inserted into the sheath to complete the sub-assembly process of the terminal wire.


4. Terminal wire assembly

Assemble the finished products according to the circuit direction on the process chart of terminal wire specification, that is, bind them into bundles with adhesive tape or tension strap to complete the assembly process of terminal wire.


5. Terminal wire packaging

The assembled terminal wire shall be neatly arranged and packed according to the process diagram of terminal wire specification, such as 500PCS/box, 50PCS/box, 5 bundles/bag, 2 bags/box, etc; When the finished terminal wire is packed into a full box, the box mouth shall be sealed with a sealing machine and the terminal wire product label of the wire harness manufacturer shall be affixed. After completing the above five inspection and packaging processes, the terminal line products can be shipped.
