What is the difference between FFC flexible ribbon cable and FPC ribbon cable?

1. FPC uses chemical etching to process flexible copper foil (FCCL) to obtain flexible printed circuit boards with orbital single-sided, double-sided and multi-layer structures.

2. The flat copper foil is sandwiched between the upper insulating film and the lower insulating film for FFC. The product is relatively simple and thick.

Typical models of FFC flexible cable are as follows:

Type A: both ends are connected, and the reinforcing plate is pasted on the insulating tape.

Type B: pass through the reinforcing plate and stick it directly on the insulating tape.

Type C: two end stiffeners directly attached to the conductor.

Type D: the reinforcing plates at both ends directly attached to the conductor intersect.

Type E: one end of the reinforcing plate is pasted on the insulating paper, and the other end is directly soldered.

Type F: the reinforcing plates at both ends are directly attached to the insulating tape, and the inner half falls off.

Type G: pay attention to the notes of direct welding at both ends.
